F. JAY FRICKER, M.D.

Dr. Jay Fricker is Chief or the Division of Cardiology. He joined the University of Florida in October 1995. His pediatric and cardiology training as well as initial academic appointments were at the University of Pittsburgh and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

His clinical and research interests are focused on heart and heart-lung transplantaion in children. In addition, he has a keen interest in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and cardiology trainees.
